Israel, Almighty God, and the "Promised Land"
Question: If Genesis 14:18-21 is taken as deed to title to Abraham without any paper work but was given to him on Mount Sinai, do the Zionists not have a holy duty to claim from the Suez Canal to the Euphrates River in Syria, including the whole of Jordon?
Yes; but because of Israel’s past behaviour, most of the cognate world do not yet understand, or see the reason they are hogtied at present!
The very well summarised reasons are in Malachi; which sums up the whole situation!
The direct way that Almighty God related with Israel in the Old Testament (Old Covenant); discontinued at Acts 28:25–28; which was prophesied in Isa. 6:9–10!
At that stage they became Lo-Ammi (not My people) for a period of time which will end when the events of Zech. 12:10 prevail, and they again are “Ammi” (My people)!
It is shown in Matt. 24 and 25 that the events so often prophesied in the Old Testament will ensue, which shows again the direct relating between Israel and their God; Who will Direct and Protect them as He promised in the Old Covenant.
When Jesus showed His credentials in His evidential Miracles, He was rejected repeatedly by Israel, by the people, by the Sanhedrin, by Pilate; and finally by the Jews and the Sanhedrin in Acts 28:25–28!
Despite all that rejection of their Messiah, they will still not see Him as He is until the events of Zech.12:10; and they will “mourn so greatly, as the loss of an only son”!
Until then; they will follow the teachings of their “sages”; and look for an “human messiah”, who, when he appears (the Assyrian), will eventually show that he is the enemy of Israel and God; and will try to obtain the worship of Israel as “their god”!!
Between now and when Zech.12:10 applies; it is the time when all the Gentiles of the world may partake in the “Great Salvation of Almighty God in Christ Jesus”; a Gift of such proportions that it is impossible to calculate its value with our limited minds; but it is the greatest Gift that has ever been offered to mankind (Romans 11:25), which implies a known number of converts to Christ Jesus!
